Indian spinner Ravi Chandran Ashwin has been removed from the current third Test match against England in Rajkot following a health-related crisis in his family. Ashwin has become the second Indian after Anil Kumble, who achieved the milestone on the second day of the Test on Friday.

India will presently take the field with ten players without Ashwin, as substitutes are just permitted in the event that players are precluded because of a blackout or coronavirus. As of now, the series is 1-1 after England and India won the first and second games separately.
