Explosive Narine, who last played for the West Indies in August 2019, is not interested in making a comeback to international cricket. Narine has clarified his stand with West Indies skipper Rovman Powell, who is currently playing for the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League.

Sunil Narine has also revealed publicly that he is truly humbled and flattered that his performances recently have moved many people to publicly express their wish for him to rethink his retirement and play in the upcoming T20 World Cup. However, he has also made up his mind, and that door is now closed for him.
