Mumbai Indians tasted their second triumph of the Indian Premier League 2024 in the absolute best manner, beating Royal Challengers Bengaluru by seven wickets on Thursday at Wankhede Stadium.

Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav blitzed the definitive thumps of (69) and (52) separately, setting the stage for MI’s undeniably exhilarating success. Kishan was splendid in starting Mumbai off very well, close by Rohit Sharma, who assumed an eminent part, scoring 38  off 24.. Down the order, Hardik Pandya and Tim David stayed unbeaten, breaking (21) off (6) and (16) off (10) individually to edge Mumbai past RCB’s impressive all-out  (196).

It was again a splendid all-round show from the Mumbai Indians, who appear to have gotten forceful, having begun their mission with three losses on the run. Prior, Jasprit Bumrah got back with a five-wicket pull, assuming a significant part with the ball to simply release 21  runs from his four overs.

His five wickets incorporated the scalps of horrendous Virat Kohli, going for three off nine, and Far du Plessis, who had caused sufficient harm with his 61-run thump, by the group he was dismissed.

It didn’t begin pleasantly for Bengaluru in the wake of being embedded to bat as they lost Virat Kohli truly early. Yet, on account of captain Faf du Plessis and Rajat Patidar, who both secured the innings, pounding (61) and (50) separately, While Dinesh Karthik stayed unbeaten subsequent to playing a terrific thump of 53  from 23, including five limits and four sixes, to direct the group to an impressive aggregate.

Karthik took on Akash Madhwal, hitting him across the ground to ruin his bowling figures as he stayed the costliest bowler, yielding 57  from his four overs for one wicket.
