The Australia squad will include Fraser-McGurk and Xavier Bartlett for the upcoming three-match ODI series against the West Indies, to commence on February 2, 2024. The former is a replacement for Glenn Maxwell, who will skip the series due to management, and the latter replaces Jhye Richardson, who will remain out due to injury.

The reason behind their selection for the series is their magnificent performances in the ongoing Big Bash League Tournament. Fraser-McGurk has amazed viewers with terrific 257 runs for the Renegades, while Xavier Bartlett has been a leading wicketkeeper at BBL with 17 wickets for the Brisbane Heat.
The first game of the tournament will be played in Melbourne, and the experienced Steve Smith will lead the team.
