Smriti Mandhana, the RCB Women’s team captain, has said that the team has invested a great deal of hard energy after a dreary opening season in the WPL. RCB was unsuccessful in coming to the end of the season games of the debut version, something they redressed for the current year with a devastating success over the Mumbai Indians.

She further added that we were unable to move forward and play the cricket we needed to play in 2023. Yet, definitely, in the last year, a ton of considerations have gone into this.

There is a ton of difficult work in the background, from my side, as well as all the care staff and the RCB board. For them to show their confidence in every one of us was simply astounding.

The skipper revealed that the main discussion they had was that ‘this is your team; do it the way in which you need to. So that was truly kind of their side. What’s more, I definitely wouldn’t agree that that year has been truly fulfilling.

Still, we had a ton of highs and lows. We got going all around well and afterward had a smidgen of a plunge. Yet, that is the way WPL and T20 cricket are.
