Sunrisers Hyderabad have roped in Vijayakanth Viyaskanth as a swap for Wanindu Hasaranga, who was ruled out of the competition on Saturday following a physical issue. Vijayakanth, who is also a Sri Lankan player, was signed at a base cost of INR 50 lakh.
Wanindu Hasaranga was supposed to join SRH after the establishment got him for INR 1.5 crore at the IPL closeout last year in December. Hasaranga was delivered by RCB in front of the IPL closeout in 2024. Because of a constant aggravation in his left heel, Hasaranga neglected to join the group.
