Islamabad United took home the Pakistan Super League championship after beating Multan Sultans by two wickets in the final match on Monday at the National Stadium in Karachi.

Islamabad United edged past Multan Sultans by two wickets, with Martin Guptill and Imad Wasim playing games dominating thumps of 50 and 19*, respectively.

Islamabad United hitters overwhelmed the Multan Sultans with a compromising bowling assault to assist the group in lifting the PSL title.

Opting to bat in the wake of winning the throw, the Multan Sultans took an impressive test against Islamabad’s powerful bowling assault, driven by Imad Wasim and Shadab Khan.
