England fast bowler Jofra Archer won’t be participating in the forthcoming Test match over the mid-year against the West Indies and Sri Lanka to be held in England. As per the latest news, England will play host to the West Indies and Sri Lanka for the three-match series; however, Archer’s participation isn’t on the cards.

Further, Jofra Archer is preparing for the impending T20I World Cup in June. He was most recently part of the T20 match against Bangladesh last year. Also, he has not played Test cricket for his country since 2021.

Jofra will play white-ball cricket this mid-year. He was out with Sussex in India for pre-season and bowled quickly; something else, he bowled all around well. He has now returned to the Caribbean, where he will play a little bit of club cricket and prepare himself for that T20 World Cup. Additionally, he will ideally play in the Pakistan series; however, he’s generally fingers-crossed right now.
