Mumbai Indians failed again to leave an impression in their IPL match after the team was squashed by Rajasthan Royals by six wickets in the fourteenth match of the continuous tournament on Monday at Wankhede Stadium. RR bowlers Trent Boult and Yuzvendra Chahal took three wickets each to restrict the Mumbai Indians to 125/9 in 20 overs.

In their pursuit of the main target, the Rajasthan Royals dashed to triumph with 27 balls in excess and six wickets close by, with Riyan Parag top-scoring (54) unbeaten. The Royals went past the objective in 15.3 overs, scoring 127/4.

Prior to being put into bat, the Mumbai Indians got off to a terrible beginning with Trent Boult eliminating Rohit Sharma and Naman Dhir for first-ball ducks. Ishan Kishan retaliated with not many after shots, yet he was got behind for 16.

Hardik Pandya and Tilak Verma’s partnership added 56 off 36 balls to release some tension among the Indians, but they still couldn’t conquer the Royals. Regretfully, this is the Mumbai Indians’ third consecutive loss in as many games.
